This project aims, through a high-level qualitative assessment, to identify limitations of current and future power systems to host very high shares of VRE. Specifically, it assesses the technical feasibility of power system operation with 100% VRE technologies, and the implications that this may have for achieving short, medium, and long-term RE integration targets.
