Center for Sustainable Systems

Twice a month in the summer CSS researchers will get together and discuss a journal article relevant to sustainable systems.  In addition to being intellectually stimulating, it will give us a great opportunity to chat and connect with each other. While the paper we discuss may not always be exactly in your research area, our diverse experience and input will lead to a vibrant discussion of the topic.

On July 26 we will discuss an article from the journal Sustainable Cities and Society  entitled, "Impacts of urbanization on urban structures and energy demand: What can we learn for urban energy planning and urbanization management?" by Reinhard Madlener and Yasin Sunak.  It summarizes the impacts of urbanization on urban structures and energy demand.

Bring your lunch and join the discussion!
