[imagefield_assist|fid=448|preset=highlight_view|lightbox=true|title=earthfest 2010|desc=|link=none|align=right|width=275|height=90]EarthFest 2010, being held 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on September 21 and 23, is designed to engage, entertain, and educate students, staff, and faculty about all things related to sustainability at the University of Michigan.

Formerly known as Energy Fest, the EarthFest: Party for the Planet will cover a range of topics including energy, buildings, transportation, food, purchasing & recycling, culture, and water. Everyone attending the event will have an opportunity to:

  • Participate in interactive demonstrations - FLIP the SWITCH to quiz yourself on sustainability facts at the CSS table!
  • Enjoy live student performances
  • Sample food from local vendors
  • Make a pledge to live sustainably by signing our pledge banner

Our goal is to make this a zero-waste event. We are asking exhibitors to please avoid handing out flyers or brochures. We will provide a one-page handout with a sustainability pledge form on the front and an exhibitor guide on the back.

Mark your calendar to join us for this "Party for the Planet!"
