Engineering Sustainable Systems (ESS) Info Session
The University of Michigan School for Environment and Sustainability invites prospective graduate students to learn about the Engineering Sustainable Systems (ESS) Dual Master’s Degree at an info session. Dr. Greg Keoleian and current ESS students will present about the dual degree and answer your questions on October 30th, in person from 12 pm-1 pm ET at the James and Anne Duderstadt Center in Presentation Room 1180. Pizza will be provided!
The Engineering Sustainable Systems (ESS) program is a dual master’s program at the University of Michigan where students earn an MS from the School for Environment and Sustainability (SEAS) and an MSE in one of the following engineering disciplines: Mechanical, Civil, Environmental, or Chemical (54 credits). Dual degrees are also available with Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, Industrial & Operations Engineering, Energy Systems Engineering, and other programs (60 credits).
Students typically complete both graduate degrees in 2-2.5 years. The program has specializations in Sustainable Design & Manufacturing, Sustainable Energy Systems, and Sustainable Water Resources, or students can design their own focus area.
If you’re interested but unable to attend the info session or have any questions, please contact the Center for Sustainable Systems at css.info@umich.edu.
We look forward to seeing you at the ESS info session on October 30th!
