From the White House to the Right of Way: Advancing Science, Climate Action, and Environmental Justice in Federal Policy
Gretchen Goldman, PhD, will share her career journey working at the intersection of science and policy. Dr. Goldman is currently the Climate Change Research and Technology Director at the U.S. Department of Transportation. She previously served in the Biden-Harris Administration as the Assistant Director for Environmental Science, Engineering, Policy, and Justice in the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, and as the Research Director at the Union of Concerned Scientists' Center for Science and Democracy. She will share her insights into how to effect change through science and policy, and some of the current challenges and priorities in federal climate, sustainability, and environmental justice policy.
