Research Team
This project is part of the wider EARNEST Consortium: https://earnest.stanford.edu/. The project aims to inform the design of Ann Arbor's Sustainable Energy Utility (SEU) by 1) understanding how the residents of the Bryant neighborhood cope with power outages, 2) understanding what energy services they would prioritize for restoration at home and within their communities, and at what cost (i.e., tracing a demand curve); and 3) understanding what it would cost to provide that level of resilience through a zero-carbon microgrid.
