CSS provides educational resources to a wide audience including graduate students at the University of Michigan, the local community through outreach programs, and other academic institutions through research and dissemination of educational materials.
Graduate Programs
CSS contributes directly to three interdisciplinary graduate degree programs offered by the School for Environment and Sustainability (SEAS) and the College of Engineering at the University of Michigan. All three programs combine a comprehensive, interdisciplinary curriculum focused on sustainability with real world experience to provide the best possible resources for emerging professionals.
Fellowships
Fellowships provide financial support to graduate students and post-doctoral researchers at CSS who have distinguished themselves in their field.
Student Internships
Outside the classroom, students are exposed to real-world internship opportunities through a large network of sponsors. All students working with CSS are strongly encouraged to pursue an internship opportunity between semesters.
Teaching Resources
PowerPoint resources and summaries for higher education help disseminate knowledge gained from quantitative sustainability research.
