7th International Conference of the International Society for Industrial Ecology

The conference theme is, “Industrial Ecology: Strategy for Green Economy,” which represents a vision to decouple economic development from environmental and resource impacts, and to promote value creation by reducing environmental and resource impacts. Green economy is recognized as an important policy goal by both industrialized and industrializing nations that seek a balance, or even synergy, between economic and environmental objectives. There is a growing recognition that such a goal cannot be achieved without joint efforts by and coordination between both industrialized and industrializing nations.
