Dr. Lashof has written extensively on global warming and national energy policy. His recent publications include Dangerous Addiction: Ending America’s Oil Dependence; A Responsible Energy Policy for the 21st Century; and The Role of Biotic Carbon Stocks in Stabilizing Greenhouse Gas Concentration at Safe Levels. Dr. Lashof was also a Lead Author of the IPCC Special Report Land Use, Land-Use Change, and Forestry. Using law, science and the support of 1.3 million members,  the NRDC Climate Center works to protect the planet to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all living things.
