Chrysler Corporation Fund Aid to Higher Education Program
"Engineering Sustainable Systems Fellows"
The University of Michigan offers the only engineering and environmental science dual Master's degree. The Engineering Sustainable Systems (ESS) program brings together two nationally recognized programs at U-M to train graduate students who will create engineered systems that are socially, environmentally, and economically sustainable. A total of 54-credit hours must be completed to earn both an M.S. in Natural Resources and Environment and an M.S.E. in Mechanical, Chemical or Civil & Environmental Engineering. The Chrysler Corporation Fund has provided support for curriculum development and for fellowships for graduate students in the ESS program.
