Projects

The goal of this LCA is to compare flexible plastic packaging to other packaging materials. This study is being carried out to explore and validate the balance between packaging type, packaging waste and food waste created/avoided as a result of packaging selection. Comparisons will include GHG emissions associated with food production, sourcing of packaging feedstocks, GHG emissions as related to distribution and storage of packaged food materials and end of life implications for packaging.  The results of this study will be externally-validated, and will be communicated externally.
